Time to upgrade the old computer!!

I swapped out an Intel Motherboard, Pentium 3 450Mhz processor, and an old 9GB SCSI harddrive , for an Asus motherboard, Athlon64 2.4 Ghz processor, replaced the old drive with a WD Raptor 150GB SATA drive. Here is the old girl, after I cleaned her out with the vacuum cleaner.

The new motherboard, processor, and memory bolted into the tray ready to install.
The new harddrive, a WD Raptor, 150GB but very FAST!!Ok the moment of truth, we kept the magic smoke inside the box.
If you let the smoke out, electrical parts stop working!Hurray!! now for some diagnostic tests. Ok everything is working.
Now for the longest part of the project, downloading and installing the Operating System.
No Microsoft here, Only open source, Linux for this computer!!!!Twelve hours later... Full system installed. Internet, watching DVDs and looking at pictures.
Much faster now, I love the new system... welcome to the 21st century!!!
